Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience.
SWEDISH MASSAGE
Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. I combine hypoallergenic massage gel with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, and greater flexibility.

MYOFASCIAL MASSAGE & STRETCHING
Fascial work is different from many modalities in that it focuses on the fascia (the connective tissue beneath the skin that attaches to, stabilizes, encloses, and separates muscles and other internal organs) rather than muscles. Fascia is responsible for wide reaching patterns that relate different parts of the body where we find issues.
CUPPING
Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which I will use acrylic cups on your skin for a few minutes to create suction. People get it for many purposes, including to help with pain, inflammation, blood flow, relaxation and well-being, and as a type of deep-tissue massage. For tight, tense, sore muscles, it has been said that cupping can do in ten minutes what massage can do in an hour. This can be a standalone treatment or integrated into a massage.
FIRE CUPPING
Andréa’s cupping approach is greatly influenced by traditional bodywork techniques practiced by generations of healers, midwives and shamans from Central America of Maya, Nahuatl, Mixteca and Aztec ancestry. The HART method Maya Abdominal Therapy, utilizes sacred listening, manual therapy, fluid presence and observation and skilled application using heat as essential in this cupping lineage.
